How to Sign Up for a Library Card

Please bring photo identification and proof of your Lebanon address to the library to receive your free library card. A parent or legal guardian must be present when children (5+) registered for their own card.

Your library card is accepted at all public libraries in Connecticut. Please report name/address changes and lost or stolen cards immediately. The replacement fee for a lost card is $2.00.

Patron Access to Library Materials

The library staff does not restrict access to materials on the basis of the age of the borrower.  Parents and caregivers are responsible for supervision of children in their selection of print and non-print materials. Children 8 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the library.

The library has the right to restrict privileges of anyone who misuses library materials or violates library policies.
